Financial Stress Affects Us All

Including high-earners and C-Suite executives.

I help people and organizations with strategies that alleviate financial stress and promote well-being in and out of the office.

Clients Include

It’s time to address the elephant in the room: more money on it’s own doesn’t alleviate stress.

This isn’t anecdotal. Financial stress impacts everyone, including high-earning professionals and top-level executives. Contrary to what many people believe, 92% of employees and 76% of C-suite and HR leaders experience financial stress. This stress is associated with lost sleep, racing thoughts, and feeling disconnected from loved ones and hobbies.

This stress also negatively impacts people’s engagement and productivity at work, averaging over one work day a week due to financial stress. Or? Nearly $200 billion in lost productivity annually.

What if you could help your employee's financial and emotional well-being and your bottom line?

I offer a fresh take on this frequently misunderstood problem by sharing the latest research about financial wellness and anxiety. It’s not about the spreadsheet or the budget–it’s about understanding how we think and feel about money shapes how we use it.

There’s no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to using money in ways that feel good. Think: You can safely spend your money on a vacation without worrying about the credit card bill when you come home, spoil the heck out of your pup, or send money to support your family back home with confidence.

When we address the emotional side of money, we see a positive ripple effect beyond finances.

As one of only a handful of financial therapists in the U.S., I’m uniquely positioned to support you through this. Attendees leave my presentations saying they’re “Feeling confident, empowered, and excited to take control of their financial future” and “I’ve never been in a space where we can openly talk about money like this.

About Lindsay

Financial Wellness Speaker

Lindsay, a biracial woman, wears a blue dress and speaks in front of a crowd about financial wellness

As a certified financial therapist and founder of a financial wellness business, I've repeatedly seen a pattern: regardless of income, people worry about money.

In my therapy practice, I see physicians, techies, consultants, and even, yes, financial planners earning upwards of six figures asking me, "Do I have enough to spend like this?" "Am I doing it right?" and "When will I finally feel safe?"

In the world of personal finance, there's a strong emphasis on rules to follow and deadlines to meet. These rules and deadlines are not tailored to people's unique lives and values. Instead, I offer space for us to account for the stories we tell ourselves about money and how money makes us feel.

Because once we move from earning enough money to survive, it’s about how to make your money work in a way that feels good and allows you to thrive.

In addition to my work as a financial wellness speaker, I host the Mind Money Balance podcast and YouTube channel, wrote the book The Financial Anxiety Solution, and am frequently asked by media outlets like CNN, CNBC, Vox, NPR, and more for my empathy-first take on all things personal finance and mental health. See all of my press features here.
