so they can use it to do more of what they love, and less of what they don’t.

EMOTIONALLY FOCUSED FINANICAL COACHING

“My work with Lindsay has been transformative. In our very first session, she asked a question that prompted me to drop an eff bomb and immediately shifted my perspective. Grateful to have her in my corner and cannot recommend Mind Money Balance more enthusiastically.”

Emotionally Focused
Financial Coaching

In emotionally focused financial coaching, I help progressive millennials dissect all parts of their lives and how money impacts them.

In 1-on-1 coaching sessions, we can dig into money, purpose, and identity. You need money to fund your life, and we’ll collaborate on the best way to make your money work for you.

Because having a healthy relationship with money affords us the ability to practice emotional, physical, and spiritual self-care.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Showing up ready to dive in makes all the difference. It helps to be vulnerable, willing to practice new behaviors, and to take ownership of your emotional-financial relationship. I strongly recommend spending one hour per week with your money. That can look like reviewing your bank statements, checking where your money went for the week, or counting the change in your piggy bank.

Many of my coaching clients work concurrently with an individual psychotherapist or have worked with a therapist in the past.

Emotionally focused financial coaching is not a substitute for mental health psychotherapy, and there is no mental health diagnosis or treatment in coaching.

  • Coaching isn't covered by insurance. Our first session is 1 hour and costs $275; recurring sessions are 55 minutes and costs $215. Most people see me weekly or bi-weekly for about 3 months.

  • If creating a budget (or my preferred term “spending plan”) is important to you, of course, we can! I’m happy to cover the basics of financial literacy education, like budgeting, creating an emergency fund, exploring salary negotiations, and investing in retirement.

  • All of my coaching sessions are done via video, and I coach people from around the world!
